The heart of the Changing Nature project is a series of case studies prepared by individuals or small groups of senior undergraduate and graduate students. The Changing Nature project is an ongoing collaboration of students in UVic's School of Environmental Studies' ES 445 (formerly ES 482/582) course. Developed by Prof. Eric Higgs, the purpose is to investigate and describe cases where ecosystems and landscapes are changing in response to environmental, ecological and cultural drivers.
This is the second year (2016) of the Project, and there are seven case studies available. To get a better sense of the course, check out the syllabus.
